Black Elected Officials & Faith-Based Leaders of the East Bay (BEO&FBL) cordially invites you to attend its annual Community Leaders Recognition Awards Reception on Wednesday, December 14th at Everett & Jones Q’s Lounge in Oakland from 5:30pm – 8:30pm. This year, an engaging dialogue will take place with special guest the Honorable Willie L. Brown, co-moderated by emerging leaders Melvin Cowan (USF graduate student) and Serena Witherspoon (UC Berkeley student).
The Community Leaders Recognition Award pays special tribute to civic leaders who have lead innovative initiatives and demonstrated unwavering commitment to promote systemic change in our communities.
